The story behind Hotfoot

We started as consultants specializing in digital transformation for the loan industry. Initially, we focused on advising customers on process and technology integration. However, we soon realised that technology posed a significant challenge. This prompted us to delve into digitisation and automation, specifically in customer onboarding and decision-making. To cater to a diverse range of customers, including those with limited income proof, we developed profile-based underwriting capabilities. As we progressed, we expanded our technology ecosystem to include digital documentation, verification, and integration with other systems. This enabled us to seamlessly handle the entire loan process from onboarding to disbursement. Additionally, we seized the opportunity to leverage and automate data for decision-making as data became more accessible across customer segments. This ongoing evolution represents the next stage of our journey.

Hotfoot Technology Solutions  bagged the prestigious Frontiers in Cooperative Banking Technology Awards (FCBTA) 2020 in the category “Best Lending Solution”. The glittering event was held in virtual mode keeping in mind the pandemic, which was Presided by Shri Parshottam Rupala Union Minister of State Govt. of India – Agriculture and Farmer Welfare. The award is for their product RAPID which provides a real-time solution to perform the entire process at the point of sale, RAPID helps in reducing TAT. Also, the platform provides straight-through processing from origination to disbursement.

Sivaram with 25 years+ of experience, is a prominent figure in the UAE and GCC banking sector. His illustrious career includes senior leadership roles at Emirates NBD, Dubai First, Dubai Bank, and Citibank. He also worked with FMCG giants Procter & Gamble and Godrej in India. Sivaram holds prestigious academic credentials as an alumnus of IIT – Madras & IIM – Ahmedabad.

Sivaram’s profound expertise and achievements in retail banking and payments make him an invaluable asset to Hotfoot. Most recently, as EVP & Head of Retail Banking Products at Emirates NBD, he played a key role in integrating two major institutions, creating a leading, profitable banking franchise. His work spanned various sectors, including liabilities, loans, payment cards, and foreign exchange.

Before his tenure at Emirates NBD, Sivaram was instrumental in the founding teams of two banking startups, Dubai First and Dubai Bank, where he successfully launched their retail banking divisions. Head - Data Science

Nagesh is a highly skilled statistician with a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of data analysis. He holds an Engineering degree and a Ph.D. in Statistics, with a research focus on experimental design. Rajesh’s expertise lies in developing intellectual properties that generate non-linear revenue in the IT services industry. He has successfully architected platforms that integrate various components, including cloud flexibility, global compliance requirements (such as PCI, HIPAA, and DPA), open-source technologies, and existing enterprise technology investments. As a first-generation entrepreneur, Rajesh holds four patents in product, platform, and cloud technologies, demonstrating his innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
